New paintings for the Little Chihuahua in Noe Valley

The owner of the Little Chihuahua Mexican restaurant recently opened up a new shop in Noe Valley in the what used to be an old carniceria, a meat market. To celebrate and evoke the old space, he asked me to make two Loteria style paintings on distressed metal. I found some square piece of steel to paint on, and then I salvaged some old pine and made a couple of frames from it. Here's what I ended up with, "La Carniceria," and "El Gancho de Carnicero," or "The Meat Hook":
